A friend in the liquor industry once told me that Southern Wine & Spirits’s distribution center in Las Vegas resembled that final scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark—except here it’s case upon case of booze and, in particular, vodka. So why not make it the official spirit of Sin City? The thought crossed my mind when I caught the Ciroc video starring P. Diddy, Eva Pigford, Frank Vincent, et al. It was based on a “short” from a year ago that seems to one-up the Ketel One ads directed by David O. Russell—would you prefer hanging out with friends or friends plus Phil Leotardo? (Of course Ciroc and Ketel One are part of the Diageo family.)
