Remember when you walked into a Brookstone and tried out those massaging chairs—the kind you’d never buy but were willing to relax in at the store in front of complete strangers? Well, the Spring 2012 catalog arrived a few weeks ago, and my son noticed some very cool-looking radio-controlled planes and helicopters as well as a hover drone “quadricopter” (at $299.99). I then flipped back a few pages and discovered that Brookstone has gone from chair massagers (which it still carries) to, shall we say, personal massagers. They also sell beads—strictly for exercise!
