Blog Vacation

The blog will be on hiatus until December 13—the Mrs. and I will be on The Weekly Standard cruise aboard Holland America’s ms Nieuw Amsterdam, which features Food & Wine magazine’s Culinary Arts Center as well as a casino—the best of both worlds, really. On Grand Cayman, we are planning on a meal at the Cracked Conch in West Bay. (You can actually view the restaurant, with its outdoor seating, in real time.) On my last visit to the restaurant, I had the braised turtle. Later, I noticed on the map that the Cayman Turtle Farm was just down the road. Hmm…
