Stephen King, an early e-book promoter, says he has no plans to release his latest work, Joyland, in a digital edition (Bill Sheehan just reviewed it in the Washington Post). As the bestselling author told the Wall Street Journal (content restricted), “Maybe at some point, but in the meantime, let people stir their sticks and go to an actual bookstore rather than a digital one.”

If only there was a bookstore nearby.
